Human resource management in healthcare

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of human resources management in a specific hospital in Jindřichův Hradec and the proposal of changes for the improvement of this system. In the theoretical part, HR activities are described individually. Then, these theoretical parts are elaborated into questions in a questionnaire survey concerning the satisfaction of employees with selected activities. There are 784 employees working in the health sector at Hradec Kralove Hospital. The questionnaire survey concerns nurses, medical laboratory assistants, midwives and orderlies. Data was collected for approximately 2 weeks from 103 respondents for the necessary research. The results are then described statistically using the percentage of each response. The resulting suggestion of possible recommendations, to improve the current situation, is forwarded to the human resource management of the selected hospital.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to specify the requirements for human resources in connection with their acquisition and selection in selected organizations, including proposing of new procedures and suitable changes.In the theoretical part are explained important concepts such as human resource management, acquisition and selection of employees. In the practical part is described the research that was conducted in organizations. Information is obtained from company documents, observations, standardized interviews with directors and questionnaires from employees. Based on the results possible changes and procedures are suggested.

This thesis is focused on the methods for selecting employees in the recruitment and selection process of employees and their using in the recruitment and selection process of teachers in kindergartens. The aim of the theoretical part of this thesis is to describe these methods for selecting employees, include context of the whole recruitment and selection process of employees and to describe the methods for selecting employees in the recruitment and selection process of teachers in kindergartens. The aim of the practical part of this thesis is to discover and describe the methods for selecting employees that are used in kindergartens in The Capital City of Prague and The Central Bohemian Region based on quantitive research of questionnaire surveys. The research reports the used methods for selecting employees, the number of combined methods for selecting employees and used knowledge and skill tests in recruitment and selection of teachers in examined kindergartens. A secondary data analysis was made by comparing research data using the following parameters: public or non-public kindergartens, location of the kindergarten in The Capital City of Prague or The Central Bohemian Region, the size of the workplace, the orientation of the kindergartens and the number of applicants. The bachelor thesis is focused on the process of recruiting, pre-selection and selection of employees used in retail units. To achieve the goal of the bachelor thesis are compared information from available publications and literature with real procedures in the process of recruitment. Based on the results of questionnaire survey, unstructured interviews, observations and documents examinations are proposed new procedures and appropriate changes, including the financial expression of selected proposals.

At present, every employer is aware of how important it is to have a reliable employee. The busy time forces the employer to save costs. Costs include time. These costs can be saved by a personal agency. The personal agency specializes in recruiting and selecting employees. We must be familiar with basic concepts, history of human resources and the problems connected with this area. The procedures that the selected agency uses in its processes are observed. Data are obtained from three different personal agencies and personnel departments are gathered through standardized and non-standardized interviews and questionnaire surveys. Results are obtained from graphs. Based on the data and their analysis, problem areas are defined and appropriate recommendations to staffing agencies are made.

This bachelor thesis discusses the topic of methods of selection. The aim of the thesis is to provide the summary of methods which are mentioned in professional literature and also methods used by employment agencies. The aim is also to evaluate these methods. The thesis consists of four parts. The first one is devoted to the aims of the thesis and its methodological solutions. The author focuses on the characteristic of process of selection and she also gives readers an idea of concrete methods which are used during the selection in the theoretical part. The characteristic of chosen employment agencies and methods which they use during the selection process constitute the practical part of this thesis. The author evaluates and interprets gained findings in the last part of this thesis.

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to propose optimization of the recruitment process and the spectrum of used methods in company the AutoCont CZ a.s., working in the field of software development. The thesis is divided into the theoretical part and the practical part. The general characteristics of the recruitment process, selection and recruitment are described based on professional literature in the theoretical section. The practical part briefly characterizes the company AutoCont CZ a.s. and analyses the above-mentioned processes. Information for the analysis is obtained from internal documentation and interviews with HR staff and development team leaders. At the conclusion of the practical part, the processes in the company are compared with theoretical knowledge. Based on these findings process optimization is proposed and proposals for changes are presented.

This Bachelor's thesis is focused on the sourcing, selection and hiring of the employees in the chosen organization and it is divided into two parts. The first, theoretical part, introduces individual processes in detail including various methods and their advantages and disadvantages. This part of thesis is based on the field specific literature. In the second, practical part, the specified organization is presented and characterized. It also analyses sourcing, selection and hiring processes of the organization. This part is based on the documents provided by the organization, external documents, interview with the human resource manager, employee survey and comparison of the theory and practical application. The practical part also covers the assessment of the obtained data, which is based on the strengths and weaknesses of the organization including proposed suggestions to improve the efficiency of explored personnel activities.

Bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of the recruitment process in the company Dräger Medical s.r.o. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the process of recruitment, selection and hiring of staff and to provide a proposal for measures to eliminate the identified shortcomings. The first part of the thesis contains a theoretical definition of the individual phases of the recruitment process, including the methods used in practice. In the practical part are described and analyzed the recruiting processes, which are used in the surveyed company. As a basis for the creation of the practical part were used two methods; analysis based on the interview with the HR manager and analysis of the internal documents. The essence is to evaluate individual processes based on established theoretical knowledge, to identify deficiencies and to create a proposal to eliminate them, which will help the company to more efficiency and prosperity.
